New Laws Effective September 1, 2019

There are many changes that our legislature recently made that took effect on September 1, 2019.  These changes are related to criminal cases from the traffic code to the criminal code.  For example, some things that were illegal before like brass knuckles are now legal to possess.  Also, deferred adjudicated probation is now available to prosecutors on first time D.W.I.’s.  Contact us to find out more and if a recent law change can have an impact on how to best handle your case.
